THEME OF ERA
'Handlebars' - Flobots

I can ride my bike with no handlebars, no handlebars, no handlebars
I can ride my bike with no handlebars, no handlebars, no handlebars

Look at me, look at me, hands in the air like it's good to be
Alive, and I'm a famous rapper, even when the paths are all crookedy
I can show you how to do-se-do, I can show you how to scratch a record
I can take apart a remote-control, and I can almost put it back together
I can tie a knot in a cherry stem, I can tell you about Lief Ericson
I know all the words to De Colores, and I'm proud to be an American
Me and my friends saw a platypus, me and my friends made a comic book
And guess how long it took? I can do anything that I want, 'cause look

I can keep rhythm with no metronome, no metronome, no metronome
And I can see a face on the telephone, on the telephone

Look at me, look at me, just called to say that it's good to be
Alive, in such a small world, I'm all curled up with a book to read
I can make money, open up a thrift store, I can make a living off a magazine
I can design an engine sixty-four miles to a gallon of gasoline
I can make new antibiotics, I can make computers survive aquatic
Conditions, I know how to run a business, and I can make you wanna buy a product
Movers, shakers, and producers-- me and my friends understand the future
I see the strings that control the system, I can do anything with no resistance

'Cause I can lead a nation with a microphone, with a microphone, with a microphone
And I can split the atoms of a molecule, of a molecule, of a molecule

Look at me, look at me-- driving and I won't stop
And it feels so good to be alive and on top!
My reach is global; my tower, secure
My cause is noble; my power is pure
I can hand out a million vaccinations, or let 'em all die in exasperation
Have 'em all healed from their lacerations, or have 'em all killed by assassination!
I can make anybody go to prison, just because I don't like 'em,
I can do anything with no permission, I have it all under my command

Because I can guide a missile by satelite, by satelite, by satelite
And I can hit a target through a telescope, through a telescope, through a telescope
And I can end the planet in a holocaust, in a holocaust, in a holocaust, in a holocaust, in a holocaust, in a holocaust

And I can ride my bike with no handlebars, no handlebars, no handlebars
I can ride my bike with no handlebars, no handlebars, no handlebars

THEME OF DEEKAMON
'The Riddle' - Gigi D'Agostino [Orig. Nik Kershaw]
before anything else, I just need to say it-- this song was chosen as Deekamon's theme because it has no meaning. At all. It was written as a bunch of riddle-sounding rubbish... which fits Deeka perfectly.

I got two strong arms--
Blessings of Babylon, time to carry on,
And try for sins and false alarms
So to America the brave,
Wise man save

Near a tree by a river, there's a hole in the ground
Where an old man of Aran goes around and around
And his mind is a beacon in the veil of the night
For a strange kind of fashion, there's a wrong and a right
But he'll never, never fight over you

I got time to kill
Sly looks in corridors without a plan of yours
A blackbird sings on bluebird hill
Thanks to the calling of the wild
Wise man's child

I got plans for us
Nights in the skullery, and days instead of me
I only know what to discuss
Oh, for anything but light
Wise men fighting over you

It's not me, you see,
Pieces of Valentine, with just a song of mine
To keep from burning history
Seasons of gasoline and gold
Wise man fold

Near a tree by a river, there's a hole in the ground
Where an old man of Aran goes around and around
And his mind is a beacon in the veil of the night
For a strange kind of fashion, there's a wrong and a right
But he'll never, never fight over you

I got time to kill
Sly looks in corridors without a plan of yours
A blackbird sings on bluebird hill
Thanks to the calling of the wild
Wise man's child

DUET
'You're Gonna Go Far, Kid' - The Offspring

Show me how to lie, you're getting better all the time
And turning all against the one is an art that's hard to teach
Another clever word sets off an unsuspecting herd,
And as you step back into line, a mob jumps to their feet

Now dance, fucker, dance!
Man, he never had a chance
And no-one even knew, it was really only you
And now you steal away, take him out today
Nice work you did... you're gonna go far, kid!

With a thousand lies and a good disguise
Hit 'em right between the eyes, hit 'em right between the eyes
When you walk away, nothing more to say
See the lightning in your eyes,
See 'em running for their lives

Slowly out of line, and drifting closer in your sights
So play it out, I'm wide awake, it's a scene about me
There's something in your way, and now someone is gonna pay
And if you can't get what you want, well, it's all because of me!

Now dance, fucker, dance!
Man, I never had a chance
And no-one even knew, it was really only you
And now you lead the way, show the light of day
Nice work you did... you're gonna go far, kid!

(Trust, decieved)

With a thousand lies and a good disguise
Hit 'em right between the eyes, hit 'em right between the eyes
When you walk away, nothing more to say
See the lightning in your eyes,
See 'em running for their lives

Now dance, fucker, dance!
He never had a chance
And no-one even knew, it was really only you
So dance, fucker, dance!
I never had a chance
It was really only you

With a thousand lies and a good disguise
Hit 'em right between the eyes, hit 'em right between the eyes
When you walk away, nothing more to say
See the lightning in your eyes,
See 'em running for their lives

Clever alibis, lord of the flies
Hit 'em right between the eyes, hit 'em right between the eyes
When you walk away, nothing more to say
See the lightning in your eyes,
See 'em running for their lives
